Time to talk about Sex...uality! This week's episode takes a deeper tone, as our hosts have been feeling the weight of the world on their shoulders, and decide to discuss something a little closer to homo. Provocation, indoctrination, ambiguity and the gay agenda is on the mics for our two loveable no-ones to discuss.

Jake explores Baby Jakey's first experiences of being queer, the power of representation and breaking down ignorance, assumptions and taboo. Jared goes all in on Gender fuckery, the influence of repression, insecurity and the fear of judgement, and why Jared became so good at cunnilingus!

We discuss queer weddings, language, the over-sexualising of queer people and the absurdity that is the nature verse nurture debate in terms of sexual orientation.

So come listen as we discuss the giant elephant in your little room and where we talk about Sex, but we spell it with 2 G's - Spelt S-E-G-G-S-uality!

SNANgent 1

Welcome to our first official Snangent! 

For every tangent you hear on the pod, there are so many you don't, and that's unfair to you! So we've decided we want to share some little snacks to get you wet and ready - wet your palette that is - in between each of our main episodes!

There is a giant wedding cake, layers upon layers sitting in our freezer, and we wanted to give you a slice here and there whenever something magical is found from a past episode! 

It's incoherent, it's not listenable, it's borderline tortuous... It's a jumble salad of words - a folie horderve if you will!

So here's our very first SNANgent, we hope you enjoy! 

Episode 6; It’s raining cats and dogs and men!

Idioms, adages, allegories, proverbs... This week's episode is worth two in the bush as our hosts explore and identify idioms and adages known throughout the ages!

Not to go zoomer on a boomer, but our episode is like throwing a hotdog down a hallway. We're examining all the skeletons in the closet, and proving that there's more than one way to skin a cat. Come rain or shine, they're selling like hot cakes without enough room to swing a dead cat!

Tangents include differentiating your Space docking from your Alligator f*ckhouse, the unspoken Harry Potter spell; Idiom Synonym, Dunstan checks in - a movie about Mental Health, and your preference for Don Quixote or Donkey Punching. 

We'll be on Cloud 9, blowing coke up one's ass and introducing you to our newest drinking game - where you have to drink anytime Jared shares a sincere story or statement that's completely BS!

Let dugongs be dugongs and come attempt to kill 2 birds with 1 stone, scone, drone, loan, groan, and Home Alone!? The sun will come out tomorrow, so toot 1 horn and bang one's drum - Its time for SNAN!

Episode 5; It’s a Name-drop-a-thon

Our experiences with Celebrities... This week's episode is a bit of light Fluff & Fun as Jake & Jared retrace their most memorable run-ins and one time literal bump-in with celebrities... Because everybody hates a Name Drop!

Our hosts tell many stories including Jake's lunch date with professional pop sensation JoJo on the set of Aquamarine and the time Jared challenged Olympic swimmer Michael Klim to a swimming race in a Noosa puddle.

We want to issue a slight disclaimer that all of these celebrity run-ins and stories shared occurred before the celebrity may or may not have been cancelled and we chose to include the story because at the time we couldn't contain our excitement! Not to mention, if you don't like celebrities, Jared's got a great list for you!

So sit back, relax and join us on a complete hypothetical tangent with Emma Roberts, but don't move, there's a Tobey MacGuire on your shoulder.

Lastly, Jake wants to issue an official apology; Kerri Russell is a character actress. She can do everything and no wrong! We love Kerri Russell and her complete filmography.

From Jared's humble beginnings as a corporate magician at Hogs Breath Cafe, to Jake's time dressed as a big teddy bear trying to sell toys to children, our host's have gone through some pretty interesting career stepping stones! Selling juice, raffle tickets, and even forcing a few hundred kids to do the limbo to Low.
